As has been announced many times before now, we are hosting the Rocky Mountain District Kiwanis Convention.
Events to be planned include our dinner on Friday August 2 at the Kiwanis Community House, as well as Tim's Gala on Saturday August 3.
If you do not want to be involved in the planning but would be willing to help please let me know!
On Friday we will need servers, cooks, setup and cleanup. Saturday we will need volunteers at the gala to help with fundraising efforts and serving cake!
Saturday afternoon I will need four people to man the doors at the house of delegates to check credentials as people enter.
If you want to attend (without working) any of the events of district convention you must register as an attendee. So, if you want to support Tim at his gala you will have to register for convention. Registration is under way!
If you have never been to a district convention I urge you to consider going. Since it is local you don't have the travel time or hotel expense and still get to hang with people from all over the district (Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico and Wyoming) and share ideas on how we can make our awesome club even better!
