Five long-time buyers of livestock at the annual Kiwanis FFA Livestock Sale were recognized at the July 19 Club meeting. (The Agriculture Committee historically has recognized buyers as they reach a multiple of five years purchasing animals.)  Buyers cited this year include Wyoming Steel (5 years), Halladay Motors (30 years), Frank and Louise Cole (35 years), Wells Fargo Bank (45 years) and Black Hills Energy (50 years). Those of you who have been around town for a while will note that Wells Fargo Bank and Black Hills Energy have not been around that long, but they and their predecessor entities together have. Thanks to these and all the other bidders who join us and take part in the sale, the Club is sponsoring its 54th annual sale next month on August 10th.
