Here is the exact wording of the motion approved by the 100th Anniversary Project Committee and the Kiwanis Club Board of Directors for consideration of Club membership as a whole at our next meeting. Both the Committee and Board votes were unanimous.
The motion is
a. that the 100th Anniversary Project shall be to pursue and obtain approval from the Governing Body of the City of Cheyenne to name the city park currently referred to as "east park" as The Cheyenne Kiwanis Park, and
b. The Club shall pledge $250,000.00 to be raised among and by its membership over three years' time period to be used toward the construction of youth activity facilities at said park.
